There are many ways to keep a building cool and stop the inside from overheating. Working in the conditions where heat is accessible can make it very difficult for employees to function properly.  large office buildings, shops and even our own homes can start to become unbearable and unlivable if direct sunlight is able to enter freely. Over the years we have developed ways in which buildings can be kept cool. Here are a few of the best ideas.

An extremely environmentally friendly option is to use Brise Soleil Building techniques like the ones available from https://alusystems.uk. These are large metal or wooden slatted constructions that are placed around the front of the building.  They are able to allow in some natural light but also, most importantly, deflect direct sunlight.  They effectively bring shading to the building, reducing the amount of heat that could be generated.

Traditional systems of cooling remained the use of air conditioning.  However, in these days of increased environmental pressure the electrical cost of using air conditioning is pretty prohibitive.  Air conditioning takes the warmer of the building and passes it through cold water systems to create a cool Breeze.

Other cooling systems involved the use of large fans but again these involve electrical cost. Some of the other systems our ventilation where Windows detect when heat is increasing and open automatically allowing in a Cooler breeze overnight in an attempt to cool the building for its daily use.
