Why do you need a decent electric meter box

It’s a very good question isn’t it? You might think that that little plastic box that has seen better days is pretty much a much of a muchness. However this is not the case. The Electric Meter box is one of the most important parts of the house. Why is it one of the most important parts of the house you ask? Read on and I shall tell you why.

First of all, picture the scene. You are driving or walking down a street what’s one of the first things you notice? Now, it won’t surprise you that it’s the front of the house but when you do look I’m pretty sure that you’ll be making a judgment on the frontage as to what type of person lives there. As you check to see the windows are clean and the frames are still white what is the one other part? I will tell you know, it is the electric meter box.

You know the types I mean, door hanging of or partly open even if it is there one at all. You can see the meter bared to all the world looking guilty as if to say “it’s not my fault, I’m supposed to be in a box”. Don’t be that person. Get a decent box.
